Short Description about Pike Peak and Dudh Kunda (Milky Holy Lake) Trek

This trek lies in Solu region. We follow the same route of Classic Everest Base Camp trek via Jiri. This trek is less touristy as we have to depend on fully organized camping, and only few trekkers have ventured before for this trek. On this trek we will walk through interesting villages having monasteries, temples and pilgrimage places.

One of the most highlights of this trek is Pike Peak which is situated at elevation of 4100m above the sea level from where we can observe world highest peak Mt. Everest (8848m) including other snowing peaks of Makalu (8475m, Kanchenjunga (8598m) and many more neighboring peaks which will thrill your mind. In this region we can find 5 different types of rhododendron species. One who come in spring (Mid March) on this trek, will be highly amazed with beauty of rhododendron flowers.

Another hightlight of this trek is Dudh Kunda (Milky Holy Lake) which is situated at 4400m on the lap of Number Himal. From here we can observe perfect landscape and the Khumu Himalayan ranges.
